The last time the San Sebastian Golden Stags hoisted the championship trophy was in the 2009-2010 season. In total, the team had 12 championship trophies to date.
Last season, the Golden Stags ended at 8th place after a disappointing 3-6 record. Be that as it may, the team is looking forward to barge deeper into the playoffs as the traditional double-round elimination format will be reinstated this season.
