List of Imports Per Team in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference

PVL Imports per team in the 2022 Reinforced Conference

The PVL (Premiere Volleyball League) will welcome back foreign imports in the league since the covid-19 pandemic hit as the Reinforced Conference will be rolled out starting on October 08, 2022. The imports for the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference are Elena Samoilenko for the PLDT High Speed Hitters, Lindsey Vander Weide for Petro Gazz Angels and Jelena Cvijovic for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

Also playing as imports are Tai Bierria for the Cignal HD Spikers, Odina Aliyeva for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans and Laura Condotta for the United Auctioneers Army Lady Troopers. Yeliz Basa will reinforce the Creamline Cool Smashers while Lindsay Stalzer and Prisilla Rivera will play as imports for F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and Akari Power Chargers respectively.

ELENA SAMOILENKO

Elena Samoilenko is a Russian volleyball player who currently plays as outside hitter for the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference. She comes from Russia and stands at 6'4. 

Before coming into the Philippines as an import, she previously played in other volleyball clubs such as Luch Moscow from 2010 to 2014. She later transferred to Proton-Saratov from 2014 to 2017. Thereafter, she played for Le Cannet Volley Ball team based in France from 2017 to 2018.

Elena then had a stint with French volleyball club Municipal Olympique Mougins Volley-Ball from 2018 to 2019 before returning to Proton-Saratov from 2019-2021. She later joined Mersin B.Sehir Bld. volleyball team in Turkey in the 2021-202 season before joining the PLDT High Speed Hitters.

LINDSEY VANDER WEIDE

Lindsey Vander Weide is an American volleyball player who plays outside hitter for the Petro Gazz Angels in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference. The 6'3 volleybelle played for the Oregon University women's volleyball squad from 2015 to 2019. 

After her collegiate years, she went to play professional volleyball with the Volley-Ball Nantes club in France. Thereafter, Lindsey Vander Weide transferred to the Békéscsabai Röplabda SE volleyball club in Hungary from 2020-2021.

Lindsey continued her volleyball journey with the AEK Athens volleyball club in Greece where she played from 2021-2022. That was her last stint before coming to the Philippines to reinforce the Petro Gazz Angels in the PVL.

JELENA CVIJOVIC

Jelena Cvijovic is a volleyball player from Montenegro who currently plays for the Cherry Tiggo 7 Pro Crossovers in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference. She is 6'1 tall and plays the outside hitter role. 

Jelena Cvijovic had extensive professional volleyball journey starting with the OK Galeb Bar volleyball club which is based in Montenegro where she played from 2006 to 2011. She then transferred to Serbia to play for Dinamo Pancevo volleyball team from 2011 to 2014 and Zrenjanin volleyball squad from 2014 to 2015.

After her stints in various professional clubs in Serbia, Jelena Cvijovic flew to Romania to suit up for the ACS Penicilina Lasi volleyball team from 2015 to 2018. She later continued her professional journey in Greece with AS Makedo from 2018 to 2019 and AO Markopoulo from 2019 to 2020.

Jelena's career did not end in Greece as she had a short stint with the Büyükçekmece BSK volleyball club in Turkey where she played from 2019 to 2020. Thereafter, she returned to Romania to play for CSU Medicina Târgu Mureș from 2020 to 2021 and SCM U Craiova from 2021 to 2022. Currently, she is now in the Philippines as an import for the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Crossovers.

TAI BIERRIA

Tai Bierria is an American professional volleyball player who currently is the import for the Cignal HD Spikers in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference. She stands at 6'1 and plays as opposite spiker.

Born in 1997, Tai Bierria played collegiate volleyball at Memphis University from 2016 to 2018 prior to transferring with the New Mexico University volleyball team where she played from 2018 to 2020. After graduating from college, she turned professional with the Pölkky Kuusamo volleyball team based in Finland from 2020 to 2021.

Tai Bierria then tried her luck with the Clamart Volley-Ball squad in France where she played from 2021 to 2022. Currently, she is now in the Philippines to play for the Cignal HD Spikers squad who are competing in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference.

ODINA ALIYEVA

Odina Aliyeya is a professional volleyball player from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. She is 6'1 tall and currently plays outside hitter for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Odina Aliyeya was born in 1990 and she is one of the most travelled and experienced imports in the PVL. She started her professional career with the Azerrail Baku volleyball team based in Azerbaijan where she played in the 2011-2012 season as well as the 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 editions. She also played in Azeryol Baku, another professional club in Azerbaijan, in the 2012-2013 and 2014-2015 seasons.

After playing in the Azerbaijan league, Odina Aliyeya moved to Italy to play for the II Bisonte Firenze team from 2016 to 2017. She then transferred to Turkey to play for Seramiksan SK from 2017 to 2018. Thereafter, she returned to Italy to suit up for Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019 to 2020, Odina Aliyeya played for the Jakarta Pertamina Energi team in Indonesia. The following year, she went to the United States of America to reinforce the Athletes Unlimited Pro League from 2020 to 2021. She later crossed borders to play for Sesi Vôlei Bauru in Brazil from 2021-2022. In the same year, she had a short stint with Jakarta Elektrik PLN in Indonesia.

Finally, she is presently playing for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans which is one of the most popular teams in the Philippines' Premiere Volleyball League (PVL).

LAURA CONDOTTA

Laura Condotta is a canadian professional volleyball player who is currently the import of the United Auctioneers Army Lady Troopers in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference. She stands at 5'9 and plays as outside hitter for the Lady Troopers.

Born in 1997, Laura Condotta started her volleyball career in the college ranks with the Brock University Badgers in Canada from 2015 to 2020. After her collegiate playing years, she turned professional with the Raiffeisen Volley Toggenburg volleyball squad in Switzerland from 2020 to 2021. Thereafter, she moved to Cyprus for the AEK Larnaca volleyball team from 2021 to 2022.

She is currently based in the Philippines to reinforce the United Auctioneers Army Lady Troopers who are had been struggling in the PVL in the past seasons.

YELIZ BASA

The Creamline Cool Smashers have signed the services of Yeliz Basa as their import for the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference. Yeliz Basa is a 6'2 opposite spiker from Turkey.

Yeliz Basa owns an extensive volleyball resume including stints in various countries in Europe and Asia. She started her professional career with the Besiktas volleyball team in Turkey from 2005 to 2012. She then moved to Japan to play for the NEC Red Rockets from 2012-2013.

Afterwards, she played in South Korea for the Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate from 2014 to 2016. Thereafter, Yeliz Basa returned to Japan for two (2) more years with NEC Red Rockets from 2014 to 2016.

Yeliz Basa went to Europe after finishing her contract with the Red Rockets to play for VK Agel Prostějov in the Czech Republic from 2016-2017. She later returned to her home country to play for Halkbank Ankara from 2017 to 2018.

Her journey continued in Asia when she signed with the Gresik Petrokimia team based in Indonesia from 2017 to 2018. For the 2018 to 2019 season, Yeliz Basa played in Thailand for the Nakhon Ratchasima The Mall team and in Vietnam for Hóa chất Đức Giang Hà Nội.

In 2019 to 2020, Yeliz Basa changed team when she signed with Partizani Tirana in Albania. She later suited up for the Llaneras De Toa Baja team in Puerto Rico. A year later in 2020 to 2021, Yeliz Basa returned to Thailand for the Nakhon Ratchasima The Mall team.

For the 2021 to 2022 team, Yeliz Basa had stints with Bandung BJB Tandamata team in Indonesia, Anthea Vicenza in Italy and Bodrumpsor in Turkey. Finally, she is presently in the Philippines to join the Creamline Cool Smashers.

LINDSAY STALZER

Lindsay Stalzer is a professional volleyball player from the United States of America. She is 6'1 tall and currently plays outside hitter for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Lindsay Stalzer was born in 1984 and she had an extensive professional career so far. She played collegiate volleyball in Bradley University at the United States of America from 2002 to 2005. After her collegiate playing years, she turned professional starting with the Divas de Aguadilla volleyball club in Puerto Rico from 2006 to 2007.

Thereafter, she had a series of stints in overseas volleyball club including Stella Calais Volley Ball in Italy from 2007 to 2008, Avarca De Menorca in Spain from 2008 to 2009, Cala de Finestrat also in Spain from 2009 to 2010 and Nova KBM Branik in Slovenia from 2010 to 2011. The other clubs where she played are Viteos NUC in Switzerland from 2011 to 2013 and Allianz MTV Stuttgart in Germany from 2013 to 2014.

Lindsay Stalzer first came into the Philippines in 2013 when she played as import for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Pilipinas Super Liga. Thereafter, she moved to Thailand to play for the 3BB Nakornnont in the 2014 to 2015 season. In the 2015-2016 season, she returned to the Philippines to play for the Foton Tornadoes and the HPK Naiset in Finland.

Her journey continued in Asia when she signed with the Gresik Petrokimia team based in Indonesia from 2017 to 2018. For the 2018 to 2019 season, Yeliz Basa played in Thailand for the Nakhon Ratchasima The Mall team and in Vietnam for Hóa chất Đức Giang Hà Nội.

Lindsay Stalzer played most of the 2016-2017 season in the Philippines. In that year, she started with the Foton Tornadoes then transferred to the Jakarta Elektrik PLN in Indonesia. She later returned to the Philippines to suit up for the Rebisco-PSL Manila team and the Petron Blaze Spikers.

After the Petron Blaze Spikers, Lindsay Stalzers joined Jakarta BNI46 (2018-2019), Bring It Promotions (2018-2019), F2 Logistics Cargo Movers (2018-2020), Grises de Humacao (2020-2021), Leonas De Ponce (2020-2021), Athletes Unlimited Pro League (2020-2022), then finally with the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers at the present.

PRISILLA RIVERA

Prisilla Rivera is a professional volleyball player from the Dominican Republic. Born in 1984 and standing at 6'1, Prisilla Rivera plays outside hitter for the Akari Power Chargers in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Prisilla Rivera started her volleyball career as early as 1998 with the San Pedro volleyball squad in the Dominican Republic where she played until 2001. She then transferred to Mirador VC team also in the Dominican Republic.

She continued her volleyball career with the Club Los Prados in the Dominican Republic from 2004 to 2005. After playing in her home country, Prisilla Rivera travelled to Spain to play for Grupo Murcia 2005 from 2005 to 2011. Thereafter, she had stints in various club including Mets De Guaynabo in Puerto Rico (2010-2011), Igtisadchi Baku in Azerbaijan (2011-2012), Pinkin De Corozal in Puerto Rico (2012-2013), Lokomotiv Baku in Azerbaijan (2013-2014) and Bursa BBSK in Turkey (2014-2015).

Other clubs where she played are Sudtirol Bolzano in Italy (2015-2016), Genter Bauru in Brazil (2016-2017), Sariyer Belediyesi in Turkey (2017-2018), Caribenas Volleyball Club in Dominican Republic (2017-2019), UTE Budapest in Hungary (2019-2020), Cristo Rey Volleyball Club in Dominican Republic (2021-2022), Jakarta Pertamina Energi in Indonesia (2021-2022) and Finally with the Akari Power Charges in the 2022 PVL Reinfoced Conference.
