The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas recently announced the 20-man pool for the Gilas Pilipinas men's basketball squad in the 5th Window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup qualifiers this coming November. The 20-man pool is composed of Japeth Aguilar, Poy Erram, June Mar Fajardo, Ange Kouame, Francis Lopez, Jamie Malonzo, Will Navarro, Chris Newsome and Calvin Oftana.
Other members of the team are Ray Parks Jr., CJ Perez, RR Pogoy, Kevin Quiambao, Dwight Ramos and Thirdy Ravena. Completing the squad are Kiefer Ravena, Kai Sotto, Carl Tamayo, Arvin Tolentino and Scottie Thompson.

The Gilas Pilipinas basketball team will play the national basketball teams of Jordan and Saudi Arabia for the 5th window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Asian Qualifiers. Currently, Gilas Pilipinas has a record of 3-3 while Jordan and Saudi Arabia have a record of 3-3 and 1-5 respectively.

Gilas Pilipinas will play Jordan on November 10, 2022 at 11:55 PM (Manila Time) at the Prince Hamza Hall in Amman. Both Gilas Pilipinas and Jordan flaunt a record of 3-3.
Three days later, Gilas Pilipinas will play Saudi Arabia at 11:55 PM at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. Gilas previously defeated the Saudi Arabia national basketball team in the 4th window.
