The second (2nd) round of the 2022 UAAP Season 85 Men's Basketball tournament will begin at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 29, 2022 featuring the battle between the De La Salle Green Archers and the UST Growling Tigers at 02:00 PM. It will then be followed by the game between the Adamson Soaring Falcons and the Ateneo Blue Eagles at 04:00 PM.
On October 30, 2022 also at the Araneta Coliseum, the UE Red Warriors will aim to repeat against the FEU Tamaraws who were able to win their last two (2) games of the 1st round of eliminations. The grudge match between the UP Fighting Maroons and NU Bulldogs will follow at 04:00 PM which is expected to be nothing less than exciting as the Fighting Maroons suffered their lone loss courtesy of the Bulldogs.

Considering that the UAAP will have to give way to the FIBA 2023 World Cup Asian Qualifiers, most of the game days in the 2nd round will feature quarduple headers. The first quadruple header will happen on November 02, 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
On that day, the first game tips off at 11:00 AM featuring the UST Growling Tigers and UE Red Warriors. The UP Fighting Maroons and Adamson Falcons will follow at 01:00 PM. Thereafter, the FEU Tamaraws will look to extend their winning streak to four (4) against the De La Salle Green Archers at 04:30 PM. Finally, the NU Bulldogs aims to exact revenge against the Ateneo Blue Eagles at 06:30 PM.
The games will resume on November 05, 2022 with another quadruple header at the Araneta Coliseum. The UP Fighting Maroons and UE Red Warriors will tussle at 11:00 AM to be followed by the game between UST Growling Tigers and the Adamson Falcons at 01:00 PM. The NU Bulldogs will clash against the FEU Tamaraws at 03:00 PM while the much-awaited rematch of the Ateneo Blue Eagles and De La Salle Green Archers will cap the day's action.
As already mentioned, the UAAP will take a long break to accommodate the FIBA qualifiers schedule. The games will resume on November 17, 2022 with another quadruple header at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The first match is between the Dela Salle Green Archers and Adamson Falcons at 11:00 AM. The UE Red Warriors and NU Bulldogs tussle will follow at 01:00 PM. Meanwhile, the UP Fighting Maroons will tackle the FEU Tamaraws at 03:00 PM to be followed by the battle between the UST Growling Tigers and Ateneo Blue Eagles.
On November 20, 2022, all eight (8) teams will again return to the hardcourt. The Ateneo Blue Eagles and FEU Tamaraws will start the hostilities at 11:00 AM then the NU Bulldogs and UST Growling Tigers match will proceed at 01:00 PM. The Adamson Falcons and UE Red Warriors will then take the court at 03:00 PM. To end the day, the UP Fighting Maroons and the De La Salle Green Archers will rekindle their budding rivalry at 06:30 PM.
The games will resume on November 23, 2022 with all teams returning to the Mall of Asia Arena. The UST Growling Tigers will attempt to upset the reigning champions UP Fighting Maroons at 11:00 AM. The NU Bulldogs and De La Salle Green Archers battle follows at 01:00 PM while the Ateneo Blue Eagles and UE Red Warriors game will tip off at 04:30 PM. Finally, the FEU Tamaraws and Adamson Falcons battle will cap off the day at 06:30 PM.
The last games of the 2nd round eliminations will take place on November 26, 2022 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Adamson Falcons and NU Bulldogs will open the matches at 11:00 AM. The FEU Tamaraws and UST Growling Tigers match will follow at 01:00 PM. At 03:00 PM the UE Red Warriors hopes to snatch another upset against the De La Salle Green Archers. Finally, the finals rematch between the Ateneo Blue Eagles and defending champions UP Fighting Maroons will end the elimination round at 06:30 PM.
