UAAP Standings 2022: Season 85 Men's Basketball Team Rankings as of November 6

The UP Fighting Maroons currently lead the team standings of the 2022 UAAP Season 85 men's basketball tournament as of November 6, 2022. UP holds a win-loss record of 9-1 and are presently the hottest team with a six-game winning streak.

The NU Bulldogs, the only team that has defeated the league-leading UP Fighting Maroons, is at second place with their own record of 7-3. Their most recent win came at the expense of the FEU Tamaraws after they rallied in the second half to erase a 15-point deficit and earn their second win in a row.

At third place of the standings are the Ateneo Blue Eagles who own a record of 6-3. Like the NU Bulldogs, the Blue Eagles won their last game against their archrival DLSU Green Archers. In contrast, however, the Blue Eagles dominated the game versus the Green Archers who have lost five of their last six games. What a fitting way to bounce back from a loss against the NU Bulldogs last November 2, 2022.

Completing the final four cast so far are the Adamson Soaring Falcons with a 4-5 slate. Without their main man Jerom Lastimosa who sprained his ankle in their loss against the UP Fighting Maroons last November 02, 2022, the Falcons relied on the heroics of Cedrick Manzano to complete a come-from-behind win against the UST Growling Tigers, 56-55. The Tigers led by as much as 19 points but the Falcons kept their composure to complete the comeback and strengthen their bid for the final four.

The UE Red Warriors lost against the UP Fighting Maroons last November 05, 2022. Although expected, the loss against the Fighting Maroons hurt their final four chance as they are now tied at 4-6 with the FEU Tamaraws.

The DLSU Green Archers are suffering a slump as they lost 4 consecutive games so far. They are currently seating second to the last with a record of 3-6. They are not yet out of final four contention but they definitely need to win all of their last 5 games if they want to extend their season to the semifinals. Unfortunately for them, they have a tough schedule as they still need to battle the defending champions UP Fighting Maroons.

The UST Growling Tigers are presently the last team with a dismal record of 1-8. After a convincing win against the Adamson Falcons in their season opening game, the Tigers faltered since and they have yet to win a game. Frustration is definitely building up in Espana and they need to find a solution quickly.
