The Akari Chargers is a relatively new team in the PVL (Premiere Volleyball League) as it only joined last year. With the arrival of three (3) new franchises in Foton Tornadoes, Farm Fresh Foxies and Gerflor Defenders, the expectation for the Akari Chargers is a bit higher.
Michelle Cobb will lead the Akari Chargers as its team captain. She will be assisted by veterans Eli Soyud, Trisha Genesis, Krich Macaslang, Jaja Maraguinot, Ezra Madrigal and Dindin Santiago-Manabat, among others.
