The Choco Mucho Flying Titans dominated Japan's Kansai University with a 3-1 win in their opening game for the VTV Cup International Women's Volleyball Tournament in Lao Cao, Vietnam on August 19, 2023
Choco Mucho rallied to a 25-17 win in the opening set. They extended their lead to 2-0 after a thrilling 25-23 win in the second (2nd) set.
Japan's Kansai University did not lose without a fight. They extended the game after outscoring Choco Mucho, 25-19, in the first set.
Nonetheless, Choco Mucho made sure to get their first win. The Flying Titans ended the match after another exciting win, 25-22, at the fourth set.
The Flying Titans are determined to make the most out of the PVL off season. Aside from Japan's Kansai University, Australia and Vietnam's national team will also compete in the tournament. South Korea's Suwon City will likewise join the fray.
