Kyt Jimenez, one of the popular players of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), submitted his application for the upcoming 2023 PBA draft. If drafted, it would be a dream come true for Kit Jimenez who always wanted to play in the PBA.
Jimenez played had a forgettable stint with the Perpetual Help Altas in the NCAA. Nonetheless, he rose to social media fame with the Mavs Phenomenal basketball program.
He then left Mavs Phenomenal and joined the Sarangani Marlins in the 2022 season of the MPBL. He became a key offensive player in the Marlins' rotation.
At one point, he even set an MPBL record after he recorded a very rare quadruple double after tallying 33 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists and 11 steals against the Mindoro Tamaraws.
He transferred to the General Santos Warriors for the 2023 MPBL season. Unfortunately for him, he joined a stacked team bannered by veterans John Wilson, Nico Elorde, Enzo Joson, Mark Cruz and Jervy Cruz.
With more star players on the team, Jimenez's productivity declined. Be that as it may, he definitely got skills which might be useful to a PBA team. Can you guess which round will he be drafted?
