The De La Salle University (DLSU) Lady Archers last won the women's basketball championship in 2013 after beating the NU Lady Bulldogs. Since then, the NU Lady Bulldogs captured seven (7) straight crown while the Lady Archers have yet to recapture a championship trophy.
Nonetheless, the Lady Archers earned the distinction of snapping the 108-win streak of the NU Lady Bulldogs last November 24, 2022. The two eventually met at the finals of the UAAP Season 85 women's basketball tournament which the Lady Bulldogs convincingly dominated.
The Lady Archers, in spite of their runner up finish last season, are optimistic of their chance to return to the top of the women's basketball podium. Comprising the DLSU Lady Archers team are Arabell Bacierto, Kreecie Binaohan, Aji Bojang, Sofia Catalan, Beatrix Dalisay, Luisa Dela Paz and Elizabeth Delos Reyes.
