 Gilas Pilipinas Lineup, Roster and Players for the 2023 FIBA World Cup

Jordan Clarkson and Kai Sotto will lead the Gilas Pilipinas in the 2023 FIBA World Cup which will be held in Manila, Philippines. With the inclusion of Jordan Clarkson who is a bona fide NBA star, this could be the strongest lineup ever assembled for the Gilas Pilipinas.



The team will not be lacking in height as June Mar Fajardo and AJ Edu, who both stand at 6'10, will reinforce 7'3 Kai Sotto. 6'9 Japeth Aguilar and 6'7 versatile wingman Jamie Malonzo will also provide height and quickness for the team.

Gilas Pilipinas Pool for FIBA World Cup 2023

The Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas (SBP) announced the list of 21 players who were called up to train for the upcoming 2023 FIBA World Cup which will be held here in the Philippines. The SBP tapped the services of NBA star Jordan Clarkson as well as 7'3 prodigy Kai Sotto.

Also in the pool are naturalized players Ange Kouame and Justine Brownlee. Young stars Carl Tamayo, Dwight Ramos, Rhenz Abando, AJ Edu will likewise join the pool.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas recently announced the 20-man pool for the Gilas Pilipinas men's basketball squad in the 5th Window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup qualifiers this coming November. The 20-man pool is composed of Japeth Aguilar, Poy Erram, June Mar Fajardo, Ange Kouame, Francis Lopez, Jamie Malonzo, Will Navarro, Chris Newsome and Calvin Oftana.

Other members of the team are Ray Parks Jr., CJ Perez, RR Pogoy, Kevin Quiambao, Dwight Ramos and Thirdy Ravena. Completing the squad are Kiefer Ravena, Kai Sotto, Carl Tamayo, Arvin Tolentino and Scottie Thompson.

Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus lineup for 2022-2023 Season 

The players of the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus in the KBL 2022-2023 season include Kim Kuk-chan, Dongjun Kim, Kim Young-hyun, Kim Young-hoon, Jihoo Kim, Kim Tae-wan, Kim Hyun-min and Jaehan Park. Other members of the team are Shin Min-seok, Yeom Jae-seong, Sungjoon Yoon and Lee Woo-seok.

Completing the squad are Lee Jin-seok, Jang Jae-seok, Jun Woo Jeon, Jung Jong-hyun, Jinsoo Choi, and Ham Ji-hoon. RJ Abarrientos from the Philippines, Justin Knox from the United States of America, and Gaige Prim also from the United States of America are the imports of Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus. Cho Dong-hyun is the head coach of the Ulsan Hyundi Mobis Phoebus for KBL 2022-2023 season.

The players of the Gilas Pilipinas or Philippine Men's Basketball National Team competing in the fourth (4th) window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Qualifiers on 25 and 29 August 2022 are Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson, Kiefer Ravena, Thirdy Ravena, Dwight Ramos and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. Also playing for Gilas are Jamie Malonzo, Calvin Oftana and Japeth Aguilar.

Completing the squad are Scottie Thompson, Chris Newsome, Carl Tamayo, Kai Sotto and Roosevelt Adams. Chot Reyes will again coach the team.

The 4th window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup European Qualifiers is scheduled on August 24, 25, 27 and 28 at various locations. Teams from Group I, J, K and L will play at most two (2) games during the 4th window.

Group J is composed of Greece, Latvia, Turkey, Belgium, Serbia and Great Britain. Group J members are Germany, Finland, Slovenia, Israel, Sweden and Estonia. The countries belonging to Group K are France, Lithuania, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Hungary. Finally, the countries competing in Group L are Italy, Iceland, Spain, Georgia, Ukraine and Netherlands.

The 4th window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Asian Qualifiers is scheduled on August 25, 29 and 30 at various locations. Teams from Group E and F will play at most two (2) games during the 4th window.

Kazakhstan, China, Jordan, India, Bahrain, Australia, Iran, Japan, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand will all play during the 4th window of the FIBA Asian Qualifiers. Also participating are the men's basketball national teams of Lebanon and Philippines, .

The players of Japan Men's Basketball National Team or also known as the Akatsuki Five who will compete in the fourth (4th) window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Qualifiers on 25 to 30 August 2022 are 6'8 Nyika Williams, 5'10 Ryuichi Kishimoto, 6'3 Makoto Hiejima, 6'3 Aki Chambers and 6'6 Yuya Nagayoshi. Also part of the team are 6'2 Yutaroh Suda, 5'6 Yuki Togashi, 6'6 Yudai Baba and 6'2 Koh Flippin.

Other members of the squad are 5'11 Ryo Terashima, 6'9 Avi Noki Schafer, 6'5 Hirotaka Yoshii and 6'8 Koya Kawamata. Completing the squad are 6'3 Yudai Nishida, 6'7 Soichiro Inoue, 5'8 Yuki Kawamura, 6'10 Nick Fazekas, 6'9 Yuta Watanabe and 6'5 Tenkusu Harimoto.

The Slovenia Men's Basketball National Team competing in the fourth (4th) window of the FIBA 2023 World Cup Qualifiers on 25 to 29 August 2022 are Luka Doncic, Goran Dragic, Sasa Ciani, Vlatko Cancar, Jakob Cebasek, Ziga Dimek, Jaka Blazic and Gregor Blas. Other members of the Slovenia Men's Basketball team are Gregor Hrovat, Robert Jurkovic, Jurij Macura, Edo Muric, and Aleksej Nicolic.

Completing the squad are Bine Prepelic, Klemen Prepelic, Luka Rupnik, Ziga Samar, Luka Scuka and Mike Tobey.
