Jordan Clarkson and Kai Sotto will lead the Gilas Pilipinas in the 2023 FIBA World Cup which will be held in Manila, Philippines. With the inclusion of Jordan Clarkson who is a bona fide NBA star, this could be the strongest lineup ever assembled for the Gilas Pilipinas.
The team will not be lacking in height as June Mar Fajardo and AJ Edu, who both stand at 6'10, will reinforce 7'3 Kai Sotto. 6'9 Japeth Aguilar and 6'7 versatile wingman Jamie Malonzo will also provide height and quickness for the team.
In the backcourt, Kiefer Ravena and Scottie Thompson will man the point. 6'4 Dwight Ramos will surely be a scoring threat for Gilas given the consistency he displayed in their tuneup games.
Rhenz Abando's athleticism will also be needed, so is the offensive power of CJ Perez. Roger Pogoy's shooting will definitely help if he remains on target.
