The Kapatagan Buffalo Braves basketball team will represent the Municipality of Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte in the upcoming Mindanao Leg of the Pilipinas Vismin Super Cup. The Buffalo Braves is the ninth (9th) team that will participate in the inaugural season of the VisMin Super Cup.
The Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup is the newest regional professional basketball league in the country featuring basketball teams based in the Visayas and Mindanao Region. The Visayas Leg was successfully held last April and May at the Alcantara Civic Center in Cebu where the KCS Mandaue Computer Specialists emerged as champions.
Meanwhile, the Mindanao Leg is slated to open this June 2021 tentatively in Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte. The other teams competing in the Mindanao Leg include the Alayon Zamboanga Del Sur, Pagadian Explorers, Ozamiz Cotta, Misamis Oriental Brew Authoritea, Roxas Vanguards, Sindangan Saints, and the Clarin Ninos.

The Buffalo Braves will be bannered by Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) players and some from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Teytey Teodoro who previously played for the Barangay Ginebra Kings in the PBA will lead the Braves in their quest for a championship title in the inaugural season of the league.
Genmar Bragais of the Batangas City Tanduay Athletics, Shaq Alanes of the Basilan Steel, Marlon Monte of the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards, Jay-ar Ng Sang of Marikina Shoemasteres, Ryan Costelo of Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines, Alexander Mandreza and Paul John Siarot of the Mindoro Tamaraws, and Jamil Gabawan of the San Juan Knights will join Teytey Teodoro in representing Kapatagan. Collegiate standouts Christian Fajarito will likewise provide height for the Braves.
Completing the team are the homegrown talents of Kapatagan which include Jeoffrey Acain, Carlos Tabaquero, Joel Sollano, and Jeames Incio.
