2022 UAAP Season 85 Best Scorers in Men's Basketball

2022 UAAP Season 85 round 1 scoring leaders

Schonny Winston of the DLSU Green Archers is the top scorer in the 2022 UAAP Season 85 after the end of the first (1st) elimination round with an average of 21.29 points per game. He is followed by Nic CabaƱero of the UST Growling Tigers who is averaging 17.71 points per outing, although his team is currently struggling at the bottom of the standings after the end of the 1st round of eliminations.

Jerom Lastimosa of the Adamson Soaring Falcons is the third (3rd) best scorer after dropping 16.71 per match. His best scoring output was against the DLSU Green Archers where he poured a career-best 29 points to lift the Adamson Soaring Falcons to a crucial win which keeps their final four bid alive.

Carl Tamayo of the UP Fighting Maroons, the reigning UAAP men's basketball champions, is the fourth (4th) best scorer with his own average of 14.86 points after seven games. His average was affected as he managed his minutes in UP's final game against UST due to a minor injury to his ankle which he rolled the previous game against the UE Red Warriors.

Completing the list of the top 5 best scorers is Dave Ildefonso of the Ateneo Blue Eagles. After a heartbreaking loss to the UP Fighting Maroons in the finals last season, Dave Ildefonso is dropping an average of 14.29 points per game to fuel Ateneo Blue Eagles' redemption campaign.
